What it does in your Supabase project
- Points your app at the project you choose
- Writes your database tables as migrations, shows you what it will run and asks first
- Sets up sign ups and sign in with Supabase Auth
- Writes and deploys Edge Functions for things like a Stripe checkout, after you approve them
- Checks whether a secret it needs is there, so it does not send you looking for something already set
What stays yours
It is your Supabase account, your project and your data. CreonAI does not hold your customers' records in a database of its own, and you get real files you can download. If you stop using CreonAI, your database carries on in Supabase.
What you still do yourself
- Create the Supabase account and project
- Choose whether Confirm email is on, in Authentication, then Sign In / Providers. CreonAI cannot change this for you
- Add private keys, such as your Stripe secret key, in Edge Functions, then Secrets. Never paste them into a chat
- Keep an eye on Supabase's own limits and pricing. Supabase charges you directly once you pass its free limits
How to start
- Sign up to CreonAI. You can try the builder first, but connecting Supabase needs an account
- Open Connectors and connect Supabase
- Describe your app, including what people sign up for and what it should save
- Read what it plans to change in your database, and allow it
- Sign up in your new app as a customer, and check the record appears in Supabase
The catches with CreonAI
- A free app carries a small badge and goes to sleep after 7 days. It is never deleted, and upgrading wakes it up
- A bigger app can take more than one day of free credits, or a paid plan
- It builds web apps that open in a browser. It cannot build a signed download for the Play Store or the App Store
